Michelle Frazer, RMT and Founder
Michelle specializes in supporting individuals living with chronic pain and complex health conditions, offering a compassionate and personalized approach to care. Her practice welcomes clients of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on fostering lasting well-being.
Before embarking on her journey as a massage therapist, Michelle worked as a professional large group facilitator, leading teams of up to 30 people to design practical solutions for complex challenges. However, her career took an unexpected turn in 2003 when health issues interrupted her path. Determined to rebuild her health, Michelle turned to massage therapy, therapeutic movement, fitness training, and meditation as tools for recovery.
The transformative power of these practices inspired her to pursue formal training. She enrolled at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, British Columbia, earning a degree in Remedial Massage Therapy. Michelle also completed yoga teacher training and became a meditation instructor, deepening her skills to help others navigate their own health journeys.
Michelle’s commitment to ongoing education is unwavering. She consistently exceeds the continuing education requirements set by the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA). Her post-graduate training includes advanced orthopedic massage, myofascial release, deep tissue techniques, hot stone massage, and methods designed to create a safe, supportive treatment space. She has also pursued specialized education in treating anxiety, sleep disorders, persistent pain, and central sensitization syndromes.
An avid learner and dedicated practitioner, Michelle blends her extensive training with genuine care and empathy to empower her clients on their paths to wellness.
When she’s not working with clients, Michelle enjoys cycling, hiking, drawing, painting, and spending time in nature—activities that nourish her creativity and love for the outdoors.
