Michelle Frazer, RMT and Founder
Michelle's practice focuses on helping people with chronic pain and conditions. She works with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Before training as a massage therapist, Michelle worked as a professional large group facilitator. She guided teams of up to 30 people in the design of practical solutions to complex problems. Health challenges sidelined her career in 2003. Michelle turned to massage therapy, therapeutic movement, fitness training and meditation to support her recovery.
Inspired by the power of these techniques, Michelle headed to massage therapy school and yoga teacher training. She became skillful at nurturing herself while helping others find their path to health.
Michelle has a degree in Remedial Massage Therapy from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, British Columbia and is trained as yoga and meditation instructor
An avid learner, she always takes more continuing education hours than required by the MTAA. Post-graduate training includes advanced orthopedic massage, myofascial, deep tissue and hot stone massage techniques, creating a safe treatment space as well as modalities to assist people with anxiety, sleep difficulties, persistent pain and central sensitization pain syndromes.
Michelle enjoys cycling, hiking, drawing, painting and being in nature.
